Minnie Bride
My niece was getting married at Disney World. For her shower I created an interpretation of Minnie Mouse as a bride. The design was simple to execute and packed a lot of wow factor. The worst part for me was getting it to the shower in one piece. It would have typically been a 45 minute ride, but due to a nasty detour and a complete loss of my sense of direction, it took 90 minutes to get there. Every time my daughter hit the breaks, the cake slid forward and threatened to fly off of the base. By the time we arrived, my nerves were frayed and my arms were acheing from the protective grasp I had on the cake all the while we were driving. It did arrive in one piece, and the oohs and ahhs made up for the aggravation.
